Bookkeeping Services That Keep Your Books Ready Every Month

Our bookkeeping services give you a dedicated Exoshore team that categorizes every transaction, reconciles your bank and card accounts, and closes the month on schedule. You get a profit and loss statement and balance sheet you can actually read, plus one U.S. point of contact who answers your questions in plain English.

The challenge

When the books fall behind, every decision gets harder

Most owners don't skip bookkeeping on purpose. It slides because sales, staff and customers come first. Then a lender asks for financials, a partner wants to know margins, or tax season shows up, and you are digging through months of bank downloads and shoeboxes of receipts trying to remember what each charge was for. It's stressful, and it always seems to happen at the worst time.

Behind books cost more than time. You can't see which jobs or products make money, cash surprises catch you off guard, and your CPA bills extra hours to clean things up before filing. A steady monthly routine fixes that, but only if someone owns it and does it the same way every month. That is what we set up for you.

What's included

What you get with bookkeeping & reporting

Transaction categorizing

Every deposit, purchase and transfer is coded to the right account in your chart of accounts, so reports reflect how your business really runs.

Bank and card reconciliation

We match your books to every bank and credit card statement each month and flag anything that doesn't line up.

Receipt matching

Receipts are attached to transactions in QuickBooks Online or Xero, so the backup is there when your CPA or a lender asks.

Month-end close

A consistent close checklist runs every month, so numbers are locked and comparable from one period to the next.

Monthly P&L and balance sheet

You receive both statements each month with a short plain-English note on what changed and what to watch.

Questions flagged, not guessed

When a charge is unclear, we ask you instead of guessing, and we keep a running list so nothing sits uncategorized.

The value

Why monthly bookkeeping services pay for themselves

Decisions based on real numbers

With current books you can see margins, spending trends and cash on hand before you hire, buy or raise prices. That means fewer gut calls and fewer surprises.

A calmer tax season

Your CPA or Enrolled Agent gets organized, reconciled books instead of a cleanup project. That usually means faster filing and fewer back-and-forth emails.

Ready when someone asks

Lenders, investors and buyers all want clean financials. Having them on hand each month makes those conversations easier and more credible.

Your time back

The hours you spent at night sorting transactions go back to running the business. You review the results instead of producing them.

Who it's for

A good fit if you are…

  • Owners still doing their own books in QuickBooks Online or Xero after hours
  • Growing service businesses whose transaction volume has outgrown a spreadsheet
  • Companies whose part-time bookkeeper left and the books have started to slip
  • Businesses preparing for a loan, investor conversation or sale that need clean financials
  • Multi-entity owners or inventory businesses that need a consistent monthly close
How it works

From first call to results.

  1. Free call

We talk through your business, how many transactions you run each month and where the books stand today, then recommend a tier.

  2. Setup

We review your books, tidy the chart of accounts, connect bank feeds and set up access you control. Any catch-up of past months is quoted separately.

  3. Ongoing bookkeeping

Your dedicated Exoshore team categorizes, reconciles and closes each month on a set schedule inside your own accounting file.

  4. Weekly updates and monthly review

You get a short weekly update on open questions and a monthly review of your P&L and balance sheet with your point of contact.

FAQ

Bookkeeping & reporting questions, answered.

How much do your bookkeeping services cost?

Pricing is based on monthly transaction volume. Starter is $450/mo for under 100 transactions, Growth is $850/mo for 100 to 400, and Premium starts at $1,500/mo for 400+, multi-entity or inventory businesses. A one-time setup fee is quoted in your proposal, and catch-up work for past months is quoted separately.

Do you file my taxes?

No. We keep your books accurate and organized all year, but a U.S. CPA or Enrolled Agent signs and files your taxes. If you already have one, we hand them clean, reconciled books. If you don't, we can point you toward finding one.

What software do you use?

We work in QuickBooks Online or Xero, inside your own company file. You own the file and control the logins. If you are on a different system or still on spreadsheets, we can talk through moving to one of these two on the free call.

What do you need from me each month?

Mostly quick answers. We send a short list of transactions we can't identify, and you reply or forward receipts. Bank feeds bring in the rest. Most owners spend a few minutes a week on it instead of several hours. We also set a regular check-in so open questions never pile up.

What is the contract length?

There is a 3-month minimum, then it goes month to month. If you prepay a full year, you get 2 months free. Your books and logins always stay yours, so if you ever leave, nothing is locked up with us. Most clients simply stay because the routine works.
